Plastic jerry cans have grown in popularity to become one of our biggest selling products in recent years. And it is clear to see why for many businesses. Plastic jerry cans cost a fraction of the amount of their metal counterparts, they are also lighter and will not rust.
H&O Plastics’ jerry cans are blow moulded from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE), a tough material that is resistant to lots of corrosive and harmful chemicals. They are available in a range of sizes and several 61mm Polypropylene screw caps. Stop-taps for easier pouring are also available.
The stock colour for plastic jerry cans is a slightly translucent ‘natural’ colour. This material allows users to see the fill-level of jerry cans without opening the lid. We are happy to manufacture jerry cans in different colours on larger orders.
Different coloured jerry cans can help identify different liquids with different properties (this is particularly useful for differentiating between hazardous and non-hazardous liquids).
All jerry cans are moulded with an integral handle to make them easier to carry. On most jerry cans the handles are sunk down into the container so that jerry cans can be stacked into pallets for storage and delivery.
The majority of our plastic jerry cans are UN-Certified and safe for storing harmful chemicals. We also offer some smaller, non-UN jerry cans which are more often used in domestic settings or for bulk-storing water.
